Heated Debate

A heated debate is taking place on the following forum:

People who have visited the Banana Club site have varying opinions as to how desirable it is. They basically range from 'highly desirable' to 'steer well clear'. It is good to hear different peoples views although you have to bear in mind that some posters have hidden agendas, e.g., some of them may be real estate agents with a vested interest in a particular development.

    Hi Lisa,

    Love the blog and think it´s very useful to a lot of people considering their early steps in international property investment - not just at the Banana Club. Just wanted to fill you in with the who is/who isn´t an agent on the Totally Property forum as there are a few accusations going about. Anthony (who appears quite early on) Dick Dawson, Garytarifa, RobH, IPIN and myself (obviously) are agents. I´m not sure about Been There (or what his motives are). Can confirm that Wolfgang is an investor who is very highly respected amongst those who have been involved in the forums for a while. Every other contributor has either invested in the Banana Club or is considering it - there are probably many more just watching the site with interest.

    Thanks for the clarification on the hidden agendas! Although Wolfgang has been accused of being an agent he seems a pretty genuine investor to me, not to mention a very well informed and shrewd investor.

    Personally, I think the more exposure you get to other peoples' points of view the better. You will not always agree with those points of view, but at least it broadens your mind.

    I am going to blog about this buying experience for better or for worse and I think it says something about your company's commitment / customer service that you have replied to this post.

    So far, I have been pleasantly surprised with the service provided by Property Showrooms.

    my partner and I invested in 3 plots at Banana Residential. We are concerned that we have lost every single penny. Do you have any inside information? I have been trying to get to the bottom of the situation for months and months, but neither IPIN or Manznares lawyers have been of any great help. It would be useful if you could get in touch and let me
    know what your experinece has been.
